CRIAR É POTÊNCIA DE SER

Anna Araujo Watercolors
The Imaginary Flowers is a watercolor collection developed in Cleveland between 2024 and 2025, based on research into flowers as a starting point for creating a personal and dreamlike universe. The works do not depict real species, but explore forms, colors, and movements that emerge from the dialogue between observation and imagination. Watercolor, with its fluidity and unpredictability, sustains this process, allowing the flowers to break free from the rules of nature and bloom as a sensitive and poetic language.
Here, I share my research and passion for flowers and gardens, creating works that blossom under the viewer’s gaze, each with its own story and originality. This collection celebrates the beauty and diversity of nature beyond the literal, capturing the essence of a garden of dreams — my dreamed garden.
